How many smoke alarms will I need?

Do alarms need to be hardwired?
Alarms which are currently hardwired generally need to be replaced with hardwired alarms, however, additional alarms can be battery powered with a radio link to connect them
How long does it take to get my compliance report?
We issue compliance reports the day the service/upgrade is completed. So you will have it by the next business day at the latest.
Do I need a compliance report?
While you don’t need a compliance report it is recommended as you are required to sign paperwork as part of the sale stating the alarm network is up to legislation. Failure to have the correct alarms in place may end up costing you 0.15% of the total sale price in QLD
